A thought on the Readings

¨ Today’s gospel calls us to action. If we are to be the salt of the earth, then we must not lose our flavour. We must try to be effective Christians.

¨ Christianity requires action. “By this will all people know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Jesus tells us that we should let our light shine before people so that they will know that we are children of the Father.

¨ If God has children living here on earth, then surely their presence should make an enormous difference: shat a difference his Son, Jesus Christ, made.
