Job Vacancy (Sacristian)

Ss Peter and Paul’s Parish are seeking to recruit a Part-time Sacristan for the Church of Ss. Peter & Paul’s, Athlone

The Role:

To provide a high level of support to the Parish Priest and Parish Team in the general running of the Parish on a part time basis.

Duties Include:

Preparing the altar for daily Masses and other liturgical services, e.g. weddings, funerals and baptisms. Handling weekly offertory contributions etc.

Opening and closing the church at agreed times.

Ordering altar and cleaning products.

Ensuring the church is maintained to a high standard and bringing maintenance  requirements to the attention of the Parish Priest.
