Clergy Change in Ss. Peter & Pauls Parish

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of Canon Liam Devine from the Parish.

Bishop Kevin has appointed Canon Liam as Parish Priest of Loughglynn from June 30th 2017. We are all saddened by the departure of Canon Liam after almost two decades in Ss. Peter & Paul’s Parish. He has served this parish with incredible commitment during his time here, he worked hard and always put others first, He will be remembered for his genuine and supportive pastoral care and his powerfully delivered and well thought out homilies. Our loss is Loughglynn’s gain.

Canon Liam as a parish we say a huge thank you and wish you well in your new appointment.

Fr. Martin Mulvaney PP

Canon Liam will be replaced by Fr. Martin Mulvaney PP a native of Sligo who is currently the Parish Priest of Croughan in north Roscommon.

We welcome Fr. Martin and wish him many happy years in our parish.

A function to thank Canon Liam for his years of service will be planned in September.

Fr. Michael Drumm (currently on sabbatical leave) to be PP of Rosses Point and to work in Adult Faith Formation (31st July)
Fr. Donal Morris Adm. (Loughglynn) to be allocated a short period of sabbatical leave (30th June)
