CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSIONS THIS WEEKEND

The Ss. Peter and Paul’s Church Procession will take place after the Saturday evening 6.30pm Mass.

The route for the Procession is from the Church to Connolly Street, Chapel Street, Lyster Street, Deerpark Road into Parnell Square finishing with Benediction on the Parnell Square end of Ball Alley Lane.

The Drum Procession will take place on Saturday evening after the 8pm Mass from the Church to the Cemetery finishing with Benediction.

The Clonown Procession will take place on Sunday morning after the 11.15am Mass from the Church to the Cemetery finishing with Benediction.

We encourage householders and business owners to tidy up around the route and where possible place flowers or a small altar in front of your premises / home. As we carry the Blessed Sacrament through the streets and roads of our Parish we pray God’s Blessing on our parish, our homes and our parishioners.

We extend a very special welcome to the children who received their First Holy Communion to attend in their First Holy Communion attire.

If the evening is wet we will have a shorter procession in the Church followed by Benediction.
