9th Annual Mass of the Angels 2024

On Wednesday, August 21st, at 7:30 PM, we will gather in Ss. Peter & Paul’s Church, Athlone for the Annual Mass of the Angels, a heartfelt observance dedicated to the memory of all babies and children who have been called home at any stage of life. This poignant service offers a sacred space for families and friends to come together in reflection, remembrance, and prayer.

Each little one, though their time on this earth may have been brief, has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who loved them. As we gather we unite in our collective grief and honor their precious spirits.

This Mass each year serves as a reminder that while the loss of a child is an unimaginable sorrow, we are not alone in our journey of remembrance. It is an opportunity to support one another, to share stories, and to celebrate the uniqueness of each life that was so dearly cherished, regardless of how long or short their journey.
