Supporting the parish financially during Level-3 Lock down

During this period of Covid lock down we are not allowed to hold public Masses in our churches. Masses are celebrated each day Monday – Saturday at 9.30 am and on Sunday at 12 noon.

The three Churches remain open for private prayer every day until 6 pm. Ss. Peter & Paul’s Church opens after Mass or Funeral Mass

The costs to maintain the church and the parish increase at this time of year due to the colder weather and need for more lighting throughout the day.

For those who are unable to return their weekly envelope / donation the Diocese have developed an on-line facility where donations for any specific parish can be made.

It is easy to use, by Clicking on the button below it will bring you to the donations page, you then scroll through the parishes until you come to Athlone, Ss. Peter & Paul’s and it will guide you through the process.

Alternatively you can drop your donations into any of the priests, the Sacristy or the Parish Office.
