Diocesan Appointments

1. Bishop Kevin Doran has announced the following appointments.

Fr. Kevin Fallon PP Rooskey, Co. Roscommon will take a years study leave.

Fr. Martin Mulvaney PP Ss Peter and Paul’s Parish, Athlone will transfer to become Parish Priest of Rooskey.

Fr. John Deignan CC Ss Peter and Paul’s Parish, Athlone will become Parish Priest of Ss Peter and Paul’s Parish, Atnlone.

Fr Andrew Ikendeza, from Uganda, will be a guest curate in Ss Peter and Paul’s Parish until the end of September, Bishop Kevin hopes to be in a position to make a more permanent appointment at that time.

The appointments take effect on Friday August 10th 2018

We wish Fr. Martin happiness in Rooskey and you might remember him in your prayers as he takes up his new appointment, I also ask your prayers and support as I take on the role of Parish Priest.
