5th Annual Mass of the Angels
|Tonight (Wednesday November 11th) at 8 pm we will celebrate our 5th annual Mass of the Angels in Ss. Peter & Paul’s Church. This Mass is to remember all babies / children who have died no matter how long ago that may have been or how they died.
Sadly this year because of the restrictions we must celebrate the Mass in private however we will live-stream the Mass tonight and make a copy of a recording of it available in the coming days as well.
As we prepare for our Mass tonight I ask you to remember in your prayers all who have lost a baby or child at any stage of life. This loss is one of the most difficult losses in life that a parent or sibling can experience.
In solidarity and to show parents we care, I ask that you light a candle in your window tonight in memory or all the babies and children who were called to be angels.
You might take a photo of your candle and post it in the comments of this post, if we get enough photos we will put together a little video tribute to the little Angel’s using the photos.
These little ones have been called home to God, Innocent Angels who have taught us more about love through their very short lives than we could learn in two lifetimes.
Please pray for the Parents, Grandparents and families of these little ones.
Parents who have lost a child, in the womb, at birth or as a young child please be assured of my prayers at all times. Join us as we pray together for the Holy Angels of the families in our parish at 8 pm tonight.
