Newsletter November 26th 2017 (Feast of Christ the King)

The feast of Christ the King is the last Sunday of Ordinary Time. Next Sunday begins Advent, and we begin the new year of the B cycle or readings. So on this last Sunday, we focus on the last things – on the end of the world, on the Last Judgment, and on Jesus. Who will see the division of the sheep and the goats. Ezekiel and Paul both warn us about it, and Jesus’ warning is similar. The time will come when each of us must be held accountable for what we have and have not done.
